In the beginning there were pencils, creative talent and being able to draw. We learnt the art of design in studios without computers and we believe that Macs and Photoshop (as much as we adore them) are labour-saving devices, not the primary creative talent in a studio. Professional graphic design underpins every medium in which we work, be it conventional printed material or new media: styling that hooks the reader (or viewer), layout that gets your message across (and in the right order) and sharp copy and crisp typography that gets you heard. The bottom line is that good design helps convey your business, your product and your brand to your customers in the most compelling way.

Search Engine Optimisation and website ranking

It's vitally important that your new website appears high up the search engines and can be found easily by your intended audience. Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) is how we achieve that, and gone are the days when you needed to spend a third of your website budget on becoming best friends with Google. We have extensive SEO expertise in-house, focusing on analysis, reporting and implementation. Yes, it's about keywords and link architecture, but it's also about looking at image search SEO, local searching and optimising for industry-specific vertical search engines. 3D Modelling and Animation

Mango Swiss specialises in creating 3D logos, illustrations and animations, brought to you by the wonderful world of x, y and z. Just when you thought our flat design alone looked stunning, we take it to another level. 3D images add interest to a website, give certain illustrations greater depth and can help convey detailed information, such as maps, with more clarity. You don't need to wear special glasses, and don't worry, we don't evangelise about how everything should be 3D. Some things are better left alone; others, however, can really benefit from standing out.

Illustrations and Cartoons

Mango Swiss used to be called Pen and Ink because some of the team specialised in drawing illustrations professionally using pens and ink and digital media, working on everything from magazine, newspaper and print work to caricature design, web graphics and Flash animation. Often meeting tight deadlines and budgets, our artists can sometimes be found working way past 4pm. Having illustrators as part of our team means we can bring a different angle to our design, print or web projects. It's something very close to our hearts. So from board games to comics, character designs to cut-aways, and technical or even architectural drawings, our pens are always at the ready.

Flash Games and Applications

Adobe Flash (previously called Macromedia Flash) is a multimedia platform that allows designers and programmers to create animations, movies, ads, web-based components and more recently, rich internet content. A great little example of a Flash game is our very own chicken-launching and flying pig shoot-em-up, Hambusters.
